Hunter Mayhew

Hunter Mayhew is a twenty-eight-year-old Mental Health Clinician.  He completed his masters degree in social work at the Southern Connecticut State University, and now works as the IOP Clinician at ROOT Center MAT Program in Bristol Connecticut.  Furthermore, he works as a consultant at Chershire's CTACC program with the goal of designing their office-based buprenohine program. 

He grew up playing sports at Daniel Hand High School.  Hunter played lacrosse at the University of Vermont before deciding to pursue a degree in Art Therapy, and Psychology elsewhere his sophomore year of college.  His interest in pursuing a career in therapy and mental health began during his junior year of college with an internship at Stonington Institute's PHP/IOP for co-occurring disorders.  Eight years later, Hunter is still working in the field of social work, mental health and substance use counseling.
